I like the lamp, but there is one problem that renders it completely useless - it won't stand up. It just flops down onto the desk. I'm guessing that if I let it free fall, the light bulb would shatter as well, so it would be dangerous as well as useless. Total waste of money.Customer Review: Elegant

This is an extremely elegant brushed steel desk lamp that compliments my desk very well. I've yet to encounter any issues with the hinges as others have experienced. I hate to say it but do not buy this lamp. It has a really bad design and the head is too heavy and does not sit upright and falls on the desk. Very Awkwardly shaped lamp not like the picture. Kind of really cheap and that's why it is priced so low!!!Customer Review: very nice

This Lamp has a excellent design,Metal finish with Silver touch,Base is heavy enough not to trip over so People should not worry about it at all,I just put Energy Smart Soft White Spiral 10 Watt Bulb and it works perfect.....
