At Walmart one day a lady told me the best Nordic Ware Bakers Half Sheet, 13 X 18 X 1 she ever bought was Nordic Ware.
And she was right. I've even bought 1/4 sheet pans that I use in my toaster oven.
Bought this pie set a couple years ago at Walmart on sale and have loved it ever since. So much so I would take it tom my mom and dad's just to make sure we had a good pie pan for holidays. Bought the second set through Amazon so I could leave a set at my house and a set at their house.
The lid is fantastic & even protects cream pies. It is aluminum so it's easy to scratch - I'd like to invent a knife that will cut a pie crust, but won't gouge aluminum.
One trick I learned somewhere and will pass along is this: after spraying the pan with non-stick spray (I prefer butter Crisco spray), sprinkle some sugar on the bottoms and sides. It helps with sticking and provides for easier pie removal.
