Customer Review: No one knows it's TREES think it's a castle?

I enjoyed the pan. Cake batter does not make it up to the rim so you can not see the detail of the train going around...cakes fault not the pan of course. Then again if details were recessed deeper leaving room for the cake to rise above.....but my only complaint is neighbors don't realize it's trees not a castle. And I have to leave out the nuts on my Rum cakes because if one was to put them as the recipe goes...loose on the bottom of this pan.....a cup of nuts.....well then they would all fall off of course when you inverted the cake pan to slip out the cake at the end. I knew better of course...it's more a warning if others who make cakes with layers of loose nuts on top are thinking about this pan. The rum cakes turned out just fine. I prefer the traditional bundts for my Rum cakes however. Neighbors have allergies to nuts so it's a win win situation. But me would love the people to realize it's trees...bundt pans in cathedrals do exist too. I am only into trees and pinecones and regular old bundt pans. Get it if you like whimsy. My cakes did not stick. Washed up just fine. Enjoy!!!! I intend to make small cakes next year that only are filled enough to cover the tree height. Then cut them apart and serve each individual tree on a plate. That's the plan...who knows what the reality will be:))) Eat Cake be happy!
