I bought this on a whim because it looked like it would make "cute" scones. Well, it makes cute scones and it also makes cute brownies, corn bread and other cute sweet treats. The brownies had to be "nudged" out, but they were still perfect. The corn muffins and scones popped right out. My only complaint is that the pan did not come with any recipes, so I always seemt to have a few empty compartments, and Nordic Ware's web site does not even showcase this pan, let alone provide a receipe. However, enterprising cooks will figure out the right proportion of batter to make. This is a lovely little pan.Customer Review: Love it!

I have had this mini scone pan about a month and I love it! I almost bought the same thing at a higher-priced online store them decided to try Amazon.com and got a great deal. I have only used it once (so far) but found it was so easy to clean in the dishwasher and the scones came out very easily. I am looking for a better scone recipe or I would have used it more than just the once! I would recommend this to any scone lover! I ordered this Nordic Ware Cast Aluminum Mini-Scone Pan as a post mother's day present to myself. If you are a fanatic of scones or corn bread, then this is the "must have" tool you should have bought a long time ago. It is absolutely a non messy cooking project, a time saver, and the scones comes out in perfect shape and moist inside. The trick is to spray the pan with Pam before filling in the batter. I bought this pan in the hopes of making great scones. But what's better is, not only are the scones perfect coming out of this pan (and they're a perfect size for 3 - 4 bites, not a whole scone or muffin!!) but I've made more muffin mixes and made them in this pan because the result is always perfect! Nice and browned on the bottom and sides, and wonderfully cooked through! I'm thrilled with this pan!! It's worth the little extra money!!!!Customer Review: A pan waiting for new recipes.

Not only is this the perfect pan for scones, it is perfect for biscuits, brownies, corn bread, etc. All come out perfectly in a fraction of the time and present well for serving. I have made scones with multi grain oatmeal, fresh and dried fruit, pumpkin and nothing sticks to the pan. Everything pops out immediately after cooking. I have nothing negative to say about this pan. In fact, I went out and purchased more for gifts.
