Fits over my Whirlpool microwave's turntable perfectly! No more messy microwave! Plus my food is not all dried out when I have to microwave it for longer periods of time. Very easy to clean and seems sturdy. Don't think I'll torture it in the dishwasher though, nothing really seems to stick to it besides cheese and even then the steam buildup makes cleanup a snap. These are exactly what I was looking for. I needed a cover to put over food for heating in the microwave - food for one on a paper plate. Don't like dried out food. I had one, but the plastic it was made out of was rather flimsy and it eventually cracked and broke in several pieces. This one is quite substantial and does an excellent job. We bought these covers at Walmart and needed to replace them and Walmart stopped carrying them, so I searched on the internet and bought 3 on Amazon.com. After 2 uses the bottom edges burnt away! They changed the plastic they use to some inferior plastic that melts! So, I'm stuck with these, and I am using the old one that doesn't melt. Do not buy this unless they go back to making them the way they used to, with good, sturdy plastic.Customer Review: Excellent, but limited life

I read all the reviews and bought this cover, about a year ago. It is fabulous! Works as advertised and the microwave food stayed moist instead of getting dried out. The center hole was a little rough so I used some sandpaper on it to smooth it out. However, in the last couple of weeks the entire cover is filled with cracks and splits. For the cover itself, 5 stars - for the limited life 1 star. I am buying a second one now.Customer Review: very useful

I used to have a microwave plate cover that I used quite a bit. It is no longer around so I ordered the Nordic Ware microwave plate cover. It is great! The hole in the middle lets steam out (along with a few minor splatters). I'm quite pleased with this! Nordic Ware 11-Inch Microwave Plate Cover
