When I ordered it, I thought it might come in handy. But in reality, it has been a great addition to the kitchen! I was using paper plates, plastic wrap, etc. to cover my microwave items (in order to keep the microwave cleaner), but this is so much easier, more economical, and carries less clean-up than I expected, that I'm really glad I purchased it! It covers small plates, bowls, and even regular sized dinner plates (not to mention hot dogs wrapped in paper towels). Bought this one as a replacement for one that I had for over 10 years. Only reason it didn't last longer was because about 7 years ago I accidentally rested it on a hot stove burner which left a couple of indentations in the plastic but didn't go all the way through. Over time it developed some cracks along those weak spots and it finally gave out. I then went on an Internet search and found me a new one! Buy it, you won't be disappointed! I use mine at least twice a day, keeps the mess out of your microwave.Customer Review: Used it every day for 2 years

and still looks good. I wash it in the dishwasher and it fits right on my corelle plates. I don't cook my foods in the microwave I use it just to heat left overs. It keeps splatter within the cover. I hope they keep up the quality. Play hard to find better, it is the best I have found to date. I don't feel most of the complaints are warranted. Its common sense use two hands and lift if you heat for long periods of time, or let it sit a while for the steam to dissipate, that's what the hole is for.Customer Review: FLIMSY but very useful

Had high hopes for this item; it's a GREAT idea, perfect size for a dinner plate and smaller but arrived cracked. I will keep it because too much trouble to return but now, having used it, I think it is wonderful and in fact I ordered another one. I like the hole in the top center because I put a paper napkin over it and there are no splatters escaping as would be the case with the ones that have the holes going around the sides of the cover. Maybe slightly heavier plastic will prevent the cracks...Customer Review: melted???

This item is advertised as being able to withstand heat up to 450 degrees. I accidentally left it in the microwave and used convection at 350 degrees. The cover had completely melted and coated the bottom of my microwave with melted plastic. I'll probably spend 2 hours chiselling out the plastic.I'm upset that I lost money on this product, but moreso that it should not have happened had their marketting been true. I'm thinking about mailing the hunks of plastic to them to try and get a replacement.
