Customer Review: Great for quick bacon

I love this tray. It may take a few tries to get the timing right depending on how you like your bacon (soft, crunchy, in between...etc.), but after you know how long to set the microwave, it's a great tray to have. You can wrap a paper towel around it to keep the grease from splattering everywhere and it's really easy to clean. If you don't have much time in the morning to cook, or just want bacon immediately, I would recommend this product. The tray helps keep grease from accumulating on the bacon strips to make it a little healthier (I know, bacon isn't healthy anyway, but less grease couldn't hurt, could it?).
If you're not sure how many pieces can fit, 4 would be the maximum if the strips are the normal length. You might be able to get 5, but I wouldn't try it. I usually set the microwave to 2:30 or so with 4 strips and they come out just the way I like them, well cooked, but not incredibly crunchy. Hope that helps as a reference point to anyone who is thinking about this product.
