I purchased several sets of these for the Church to use when we have a pancake event(cooking greater than 50 pancakes in a short period of time). The rings did not stick and made well formed pancakes. The only draw back was the poorly designed device that was intended to pick up four of the rings at once...it was very flimsy and we ended up using tongs to remove the rings from the griddle because it was faster. If the center piece could be secured, the product would be perfect. The rings still performed very well utilizing the tongs and we cooked 250+ pancakes in 45 minutes using them.Customer Review: Fat pancakes

I have used my rings for solo eggs and a quartet of pancakes. The eggs are great on a muffin, but they are difficult to flip over with the rings and since I like my eggs over easy, I end up pulling off the ring and having the egg run out anyway. It does start out as a perfect circle and is still greater than an abstract egg if you like order. As for the pancakes, I let my batter sit for awhile before making the pancakes and they looked like crumpets when prepared. Very tasty, light, fluffy and perfect circles. No problem removing the rings from the pancakes before flipping them.Customer Review: good for the price

If I could give a rating of 3.5 stars, I would. The rings themselves do exactly what is expected. They are sturdy and easy to clean. I don't have a great cooking background, so I struggled with them the first few uses. If you grease the inside walls with butter or cooking spray before use, it helps a lot.
The reason why I don't give the product a 4 or 5 star review is that the handle and center piece are cheap, flimsy, and very nearly useless. I haven't used either since the second or third use of the rings. They just get in the way more than they help.

Several reviews said these were not practical for pancakes, but I think they are perfect! I like mine with a little thickness, but could never get the consistency of the batter just right. If too thin, the pancakes spread out and are also thin, but with the rings I can make them as thick as I want. I also like the size, like dollar pancakes. For those who said it leaked out from underneath, it was probably because their pan was warped. I had no trouble. Just be sure they are cooked through before flipping. (I used a lower temperature so they didn't get too dark.)Customer Review: Yuck.

I'm pretty easy to please, but these little rings just didn't do it for me. The first time we tried them with pancakes, the batter ran out from underneath. Same with eggs. Maybe we're doing something wrong. They're also kind of a mess to store -- clutter. It's not actually a neat little one piece item like the pictures shows, but 4 separate rings that snap into each other and the little holder. I've only used it a few times and realized that now it just sits in the drawer because it's just too difficult to deal with. So.... another one for the salvage store!
