What a difference between this and the flat paddle that comes with the Kitchen aid mixer! I have the 6 quart mixer, and I have always had to stop the machine during mixing to scape the bowl. Well, I don't anymore thanks to the Beater Blade. It incorporates ingredients perfectly and very quickly too. No more scraping necessary!Customer Review: Great invention! Great Investment!

I read reviews before I bought this product and have chosen the correct model and size to go along with my KitchenAid professional 5 plus mixer stand with bowl lifter. My icing came out smoother and flufflier. I saved time and less scraping. I love this product. Worth the money!

I have the 5 Quart also it works great but this one would not work at all. The design is great but the tool its self would not fit into my 6 quart bowl. It was too tight, and yes I adjusted the height screw. I love my 5 quart but maybe this one is for new 6 quart mixers as mine is several years old. Good Luck.Customer Review: Beater blade breaks

I purchased the KA-5L and used it happily for about a month; right up until I made stiff cookie dough. It snapped right off. I will get another one because they are so cool but I will not use them for stiff dough like bread or cookies. This beater does exactly what its suppose to do. It really mixes all my cake batters and icings very well. My only complaint is when I am mixing two cake mixes, it doesn't mix the dry ingredients at the very bottom of the mixing bowl. That has only happened twice, but overall it works great!
