Decided to try this beater since I was tired of stopping to scrape the bowl frequently. It works beautifully! Haven't used it but once to do cookies and am hoping the scrapper material on the sides of the beater holds up for a long time. This was a real time saver item and well worth the money! I only wish it was available for my smaller kitchen aid mixer.Customer Review: Just a warning about these blades...

I was at a higher-end baking store this weekend, looking for these blades. Someone else was there with the same purpose...and was speaking to a sales person who said they pulled them from their inventory bc they are wreaking some havoc on mixers, and bc they are not made by the company producing the mixer, it is voiding the warranty on the mixers.Customer Review: Does not fit my mixer!

This came today. It was a gift for my partner for his birthday. I checked to see that it fit our lift stand mixer. The description of the item states it will fit any 6 quart or lift mixer regardless of model number. Well low and behold it does not fit my mixer. It catches on the edge of the bowl and jams the mixer. What a disappointment.Customer Review: highly recommended

This should have come with my kitchenaid mixer.
I have been very pleased with how well the beater blade scrapes the bowl while mixing. I was skeptical at first but after using it I am very pleased! I have only been using it for 3 or 4 weeks so I can't speak to it's durability, but if it does break I will definitely buy another!

This is a huge time saver. I was worried about ordering after reading other reviews in fear that it would break as it is plastic, but I have used it several times with pretty tough dough and I have not had a problem. The 5-plus mixer bowl is so wide, without this scraper blade, you spend an insane amount of time scraping the bowl.
