I got my grandma this for Christmas and she loves it! She bakes a lot and says this mixer-thingy works great (this is high praise from someone who can find something wrong with almost everything). I would get one if I had myself a KitchenAid stand mixer, but I don't so I can't...for now. The seller I purchased this item from--Kitchen Couture--was great, too. I get so tired of stopping my Kitchen Aid mixer and scraping down the sides and then scraping down the scraper and then scraping down either my finger or the other object that I used to scrap down the scraper. Confused and frustrated? Buy this product and let it do the work of scraping down the sides of your mixer bowl. I've done cookies, cakes and candy and it works beautifully. This blade does all that it says it does and not only does it scrape the bowl clean as it mixes but it also speeds up the mixing time - no more turning the machine off, unlocking the head, lifting the head out of the batter but there are no more suprises in the bottom. ALL IS MIXED!!
Having this blade with the Kitchen Aide has justified the purchase of this mixer and don't think I would ever be content again with any other mixer.

The BeaterBlade+ makes baking a pleasure! I used to have to stop and scrape the bowl and mix in dry ingredients at the bottom of the bowl that the KitchenAid beater didn't touch. With the BeaterBlade+ it cut my mixing time in half - no stopping to scrape the bowl, or to mix in unincorporated ingredients. The BeaterBlade+ does a MUCH better job than the beater that comes with the Kitchen Aid mixer. You won't be sorry you bought it.Customer Review: Great Beater Blade

I bought the New Metro Design Beater Blade for my Kitchenaid Artisan mixer. I love the "metro" beater blade. For all we pay Kitchenaid, they should include this blade with the mixer!! It does a nice job of scraping the bowl. I have the 5 quart bowl that came with the mixer, and then bought a 3 quart bowl as well, for smaller jobs. This blade works with both bowls nicely. I would recommend it to all Kitchenaid mixer users.
