Between my son and I, we have owned 3 of these machines. They work great for about a year, doing one roast a week. Then they fall apart. Too much heat and poor construction materials are apparently the problem. It's too bad because when it works, it works great!Customer Review: Why does Amazon not take action against Nesco?????

Based on all the bad reviews and the fact that this roaster is even DANGEROUS, why does Amazon not refuse to sell these, or use their considerable purchasing power to pressure Nesco into correction the design flaws. The Nesco CR-1010 Coffee Bean Roaster works perfectly and is reasonably priced. I have used it 5 times now and it produces consistently good results. It is easy to clean. I brag to everyone that I finally found something made in the USA.Customer Review: Too cheaply made

This roaster is the best buy for the price. It is our second one. The first was well used but not as well maintained as we should have. It is the best value for our dollar.
