We have been making jerky for many, many years. Like most, we have tried all the different brands, plus probaby a thousand and one recipes that people say are great...WELL...none of them come anywhere close to NESCO, Jerky Spice Works. We and most of our family and friends prefer the original, the teriaky is really good too, but we love the original!!! I love finally finding a larger count box, what a great convenience. We like the new pkg/box decor too. We have used this on beef & venison/deer (sliced and ground). If you want to try a great and easy jerky mix this is the one!!!! We just put our meat (mostly we do sliced, that's just what we prefer) in a ziplock type bag, mix the salt packet in w/meat, then the spice packet gets mixed in. Try to be sure it gets on each piece. Stick it in the frig to marinate overnight, every so often we shake/moosh the bag around. After marinating, layout in dehydrater and You're Done!!! Yum, Yum!!! Try it you won't be disappointed!!!
