I live in New Orleans, and this dehydrator works wonders even in the 100% humidity we often get during the summer. My first attempt, I overdried my turkey jerky, but it still tasted great. Also, as a fruit lover, but one who tends to buy in bulk, make trail mix, etc. it's great for drying fruit to take along.Customer Review: pleased customer

Great product. Selling point was the heater in the lid instead of bottom. Makes this dehydrator easier to keep clean and certainly dries all products faster. Only drawback is no on and off switch on the machine but using a plug strip with an on and off switch works just fine instead. Definately a winner.Customer Review: Wow

It's winter so I haven't had the chance to use it with my garden vegetables.
But herb! They all kept their scent, their color, wonderful.
The family is also going through bags of apples, quickly dipped in oj and dried.
Favorite quick snacks for the kids (4 and 8).
Highly recommend.

Purchased this through Amazon and received it very quickly. It was missing the jerky gun kit (which was the main reason I selected this model). I was instructed to contact the company, who sent me the replacement part although it took several weeks. I haven't used it yet but am looking forward to it!Customer Review: motor blew

Had the dehydrator on for about 10sec before the motor blew. Couldn't contact the support number outside of the States. A total waste of time & money! Followed it up with Nesco through their website but they said to contact Amazon about the faulty part and refund. Very disappointed to say the least.
