The liquid does a great job of removing the odor of cat urine. I recommend buying the big container for the volume, but not for the squirter.
As others have noted the battery powered pump is not really great. It worked OK the first time, but after a few weeks of not being used it stopped. You can see the liquid being pulled part way up the tube, but not far enough to go out the nozzle.
The motor makes plenty of noise, and we only used the squirter for one session, so the batteries are not completely dead. Either the batteries have to be brand new or the seals in the squirter's pump don't last very long. In either case, don't count on it working. A hand powered squirter would probably work much better.
