i love the slider station. worked great. whole family loves it (even in-laws) I dont like the grease factor due to it being hard to remove the grease and the burgers shrink but over all it is a great product. Fallow the instructions and cook on a med. heat not high. if you cook on high the outsides will cook inside is raw but on med. heat it works fine. as for the nonstick coating, i have not had any problems my self so as far as i am conserned it works fine and cleans up in 5 minutes with some warm water and soap no scrubbing required for mine. Finally people need to use common sence with it and NOT touch the metal parts when cooking of course it will be hot so don't blame the product for stupidity.Customer Review: Make your own - it's easier

We were very disappointed in this product for the following reasons.
1. The burgers are smaller than sliders you would find in any restaurant including White Castle - think silver dollar size.
2. Cleaning it may be easy, but cleaning the stove after all the splatter from it is not fun. The wells at the bottom are not deep enough to hold the drippings and we used a very lean ground beef.
3. It takes much longer than the 2 minutes advertised in their infomercial. If you're trying to make burgers for more than 2 people, it'll take forever.
4. The price + shipping cost is triple what it is worth.
Bottom line: Save your money and fry it on your own pan.

We registered for this item for our wedding and received it as a shower gift. It is a TERRIBLE machine. The first time we used it it worked fine and made good mini burgers with no problem - but the cleanup was horrendous. I'm not sure what the deal with it is, but it is awful to try to clean the top press. The next 2-3 times we used it to make sliders, our entire burger/chicken/turkey patty was covered on the top in some sort of metallic sheen. I am not sure if it is just the paint coming off on it or what but it is AWFUL. I do NOT recommend this product and am concerned about health issues for anyone who ingests the silver residue. I bought this thing three months ago and I have used it nine time total and have never had a problem with it. The people who have used it and had it fail on them may not have used it properly buy washing it in hot soapy water and then drying it off and also by only using it on medium temp. and then waiting for it to cool down before washing it. It still looks great and makes great sliders. The only thing I thought that could be better is the scooper which is made of plastic and broke on the second ot third time I used it, but I bought a replacement scoop which is one of those two end scoops that I think they use for coffee and now I'm back in business.Customer Review: Disappointment - Don't Buy It

I bought this thinking it would be fun for the kids. It is a LOT smaller than it looks on the commercial. It doesn't make hamburgers - as a matter of fact the kids asked me if I had invented Hamburger Nuggets. This would be a great invention if you were looking to make flattened meatballs. The burgers stuck to the top of the pan, making it impossible to check to see if they were done. I burnt myself more than once on the metal parts next to the handle of the lid. It didn't clean up, either. I had to scrub it with a Brillo pad to get it clean. I will be taking it back to the store, so save yourself the trouble and don't buy it.
