When I saw this laptop table I had high hopes for something I could to hold my laptop and allow me to use my mouse. This was not to be. If I placed it on the couch like the picture shoes, it's totally awkward if your couch isn't wide enough. the front legs end up hanging off the chair. Look at the model's posture. She'd have aching wrists after using the computer and mouse like that. Obviously the legs make it too high. I tried not using it with the legs but then it hurts your thighs because there's no support. I'm better off with the laptop in my lap. I'm better off sticking with my Belkin Notebook Holder. I just wish they made them a little wider for space for a mouse.Customer Review: Great for price

I actually bought this item from bed bath and beyond because of the other reviews. THank you to those who mentioned BB&B. I was able to check the quality of the table out in person. Not only is the price lower, i was able to use the 20% discount coupon of BB&B. BB&B also has warranty for the item.
I wouldnt mind so much about the tilting of the table not being strong enough because the recent laptops are all light and i wouldnt tilt my laptop table up since the screen of the laptop can be tilted. It wont be ideal for health profession or law students i would imagine to read since their books are really thick and heavy. so as a laptop table alone, i would give it a 4.5

Well, I wrote an OK review not thinking anything of it but just writing a review. The desk top had damage ,which I glued back together, and scratches on it but no main parts were bad and it was usable, so I kept it and did not send it back. I love using this desk top. Well, to my total surprise, and my children's, yesterday we received another on out of the blue! This company sent me a replacement in perfect condition! I did not even call or say anything. I have to say I will buy things from this distributer again! I was very impressed that the wanted me to have a great experience with them, and I have. I am a senior and find that myplace lap desk works great for my craft projects. Can put all of my supplies on it and move it easily to the side when needed, such as getting the phone. could use a cup holder on it, but then I might never get up . The legs work beautifully, if wanted, can even fold the legs up to use flat. The litle lamp is very useful for my tired old eyes. What will they think of next? am sure I will use on it trips for crafts as well as computer. Really is making things easier, love my Myplace. This product is so poorly made. As soon as I took it out of the box, parts of the product started to break off. The plastic felt really cheap, like something that you would get at a 99cent store. I didn't even get a chance to put my laptop on the table, because every time I adjusted the height of the table more parts broke off. I was so excited about this item because I work mostly from my couch. This is such a let down. I have never returned an item before, whether I liked it or not. But this is such a terrible product that I felt I needed to return and tell you guys not to buy it. Spend a little more to buy something better is my advice.
