Overall I've been very impressed with the product. It is super easy to set up and works great. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that one tip of diverter valve that attaches to the faucet and diverts the water to the filter broke. I called the company and they were aware of the manufacture defect. They were very friendly and helpful. They put a whole new "diverter valve attachment" in the mail that same day. After changing out the part we have had no other problems at all after several months of substantial use.
Description of Multi-Pure Water Guardian Drinking Water System Model - MPADC
System has a solid carbon block filter that is considered to be the most effective method for reducing a wide range of contaminants of health concern, which may be present in the water. The carbon is compacted into a dense structure, causing every molecule of water to be forced through microscopic pores of carbon, effectively reducing pollutants. The Solid Carbon Block Filter is a replaceable cartridge designed so that it can be easily changed. Some additional advantages of the Solid Carbon Block Filter are that it does not waste water, there is no electricity required, it does not remove essential trace minerals that are beneficial to good health, it does not add salt or silver to the water; and it provides fresh, delicious, healthy drinking water. Multi-Pure is the only company that manufactures the filters for the 21 drinking water treatment devices certified by NSF under Standard No. 53 and No. 42 to reduce the widest range of contaminants. NSF International is an independent, not-for-profit organization that develops and adopts voluntary consensus standards and testing programs for home water treatment systems. Multi-Pure filters are also certified by the state of California, which may have the strictest environmental standards in the United States. Important Note: Tighten the housing by hand. The Wrench provided is for opening the housing in order to change the filter cartridge.Water Filtration
