Customer Review: SMELLY ... don't buy!

I've tried using this on 3 different occasions, everything seems to work well, however, it smells like fireworks, or gunpowder burning. I thought this would subside with a few uses but it has not. Something is wrong with this thing and that smell is frightening, I'm taking it back.Customer Review: smell bad.

It gets 2 stars because it warms coffee and the button and lights are cool.
It does not get 3-5 stars because it doesn't warm the coffee very well and it makes everything around it smell funny, including your drink - smells like burnt metal or plastic.

I've had for 6 months now, never had an odor or other problem. I use it in the bathroom, it keeps coffee warm, not hot. To keep coffee hot I keep it on high and put a coaster or washcloth over the cup. Not a problem but I wouldn't buy this model again.Customer Review: Not Safe

This warmer is as bad as everyone says. Add to it that the surface underneath it gets hotter than the beverage. I'm replacing mine for fear it will warp the counter top by overheating. They should do everyone a favor and pull this from the market.Customer Review: Disappointed

This beverage warmer is over priced. It has two settings which are both mediocre. The hottest setting barely keeps the coffee or tea warm. Given the price, it was a major disappointment and not worth the money.
