Customer Review: This makes the best ice tea

The ice tea maker came in excel. shape, box slightly crushed by UPS but product OK. I bought this thru amazon but was sold by Yard Deal. I used my first TM-2 2qt Mr coffee ice tea maker for 2yrs before I bought my 3 qt Mr Coffee ice tea maker which I have used for at least 15+ yrs and needed another one for our summer house. There was a different TM3 that was $89.00 but could not see the difference between the $29.00 (Mr. Coffee TM3-2W 3-Quart Iced Tea Maker ) one other than the less $ had a pinkish/red lid. I have never replaced the maker only replaced the pitchers that leaks at the seam but I always have an extra pitcher on hand. My pitchers sometimes last 2-3 yrs and I sometimes put them in the dishwasher. As per other comments by the time you replace the pitchers you could have bought another maker. It would be nice to have a glass pitcher. I make tea atleast 1-2 times a week with bottled spring water and I like the dial to adjust the tea strength. Mainly use herbal teas in packets but always use coffee filter with loose tea. I always place the ice in the pitcher first (I keep a freezer ziplock bag full of ice in freezer) and my tea always comes out clear and tastes great. I have no complaints.
I did buy as a gift the TM-70 but my friend hates it; leaks, can't adjust the tea strength well, etc. that is one reason why I bought the TM-3 again.Mr. Coffee TM3-2 3-Quart Ice Tea Maker
