I bought one for both our office and our home, this makes excellent tasting tea. I love the fact you can make different amounts of tea and that it now makes 3 quarts, the older style only had the 2 quart option. I haven't had any troubles with the pitcher, but I do not wash it in the dishwasher, I always hand wash it. And I do like that I can buy replacements if needed.
