This is the best product for brewing iced tea. Had one previously and the on/off switch finally broke. I think I had it for 8 - 10 years. Wanted exactly the same one because I had extra carafes and they would only fit this make and model. Found just what I wanted on Amazon and ordered it. When I received it, found it exactly the same as my old one. I am just thrilled with how easy it is to make excellent iced tea. Just the way I felt about my old one.Customer Review: I love this machine.

I thought at first it was stupid to buy an iced tea maker, but I repent, we use this machine every day. It makes great iced tea, and I don't have to mess with a kettle to boil water or microwave a pyrex cup. Someone recommended this as a good way to drink green tea, which I think tastes bad hot. They were right. Not only that, but we whip up all sorts of great blends. If you like iced tea, and drink a lot of it, buy this.Customer Review: Good replacement for original model

I bought the new Mr. Coffee TM1 to replace my old one, which worked consistently well since I got it in 1991. My old one still worked, but the pitcher was all cracked and stained so I thought it was time for a new one. So far, it's working well and the only difference is that the plastic brewing basket no longer has that lever to slowly release the tea into the pitcher. I think it's also quieter. My girlfriend bought this for me or I'd never use it again. It does make tea but it vibrates out of position and just makes a tea stained mess all over. Dont dare to put it in a cookie sheet to contain it or it will fill and possibly short out the heating element. they should have stuck with the regular coffee drip design and it would have been perfect. horse whip the engineer that designed this mess maker!!!Customer Review: Give me iced tea!

I bought mine over a year and a half ago and love to have iced tea all year round (I live in a hot climate and hate it.) Never had any problems with it, it comes with 2 pitchers so you can keep filling them and have plenty on hand for guests. So far it's durable, but it this point it looks like the water boiling section needs to be cleaned and I don't know where to get the blue liquid it tells you to use.
