I drink tea throughout the day and wanted something to keep it warm as I get busy at my desk. This product really does the trick. I learned by reading another review that if I put something on top of my ceramic mug,like a manilla folder to prevent the steam from venting it stays even HOTTER. You don't need to do that to keep your drink warm, it just keeps it a few degrees hotter.I have put a cup of hot tea on the warmer at 8:00am, went to a 3 hour meeting and came back and it was still hot. As with the other reviews, you CAN NOT put a cool drink on the warmer and expect it to warm it up, it is not a microwave it maintains the temperature you start with.Customer Review: Great little warmer!

I'm no fan of the Mr. Coffee brand, and it was with great reluctance that I ordered this warmer. Unlike their other beverage products, this is great product.
It keeps even an over-sized mug of coffee, tea (or anything else) at just the right temperature for drinking. Most of the other beverage warmers I've had keep the coffee or tea warm to tepid at best. This keeps it just hot enough not to scald your mouth, whether the mug is almost empty or almost full. It is sturdy, stable, and has a warming surface big enough to handle a wide bottomed mug or cup.
I like it so much I'm going to buy another. No more tepid coffee or tea!

I've seen a lot of reviews for products like this claiming that it didn't do what it was supposed to. This one in my opinion is different. It does exactly what it is supposed to. Many think that this product is supposed to heat up a cold beverage. They expect too much. If your coffee is hot and you don't want it to get cold then this IS the product for you.
Pro's- Works like a charm. Keeps the coffee hot/warm.
Con's- The only one I can think of is that it is doesn't have a USB connection. It's just easier if it could plug into a computer instead of searching for an open outlet by the computer. Just saying.

The Mr. Coffee warmer does not produce enough heat to keep a beverage in a typical coffee mug warm. The wattage should be higher. In addition, earlier models had a somewhat higher wattage and an automatic shutoff if the cup was not lifted from the warmer for a period of time, approximately 10 minutes. When the cup was lifted, the timer would reset. Also, when the cup was lifted, the warmer would shut off until the cup was replaced on the warmer. The current model does not have either of these safety features. Once you turn the warmer on, it stays on until turned off with the manual switch on the warmer (if you remember to turn it off).Customer Review: Ten bloody stars. This little thing for 9.99 is just mind-blowing and amazing. I thought today if I don't review this it is not fair. This little thing has so much of power. I use it EVERYDAY. For the past year or so. I have forgotten and slept over night leaving it switched on for like Eight Hours of time that is not including the usage of during the day time. The best value product I have ever bought for 9.99. I used it everyday and still using it. If I can give it a Ten Stars I will give it. Don't think just buy it. Just a tip have cover on top of your Coffee or Tea where it will stay hot as you just made it. Two thumbs up and Ten Stars.
