I live in a remote location where commercially available beer is often difficult to come by. So I purchased the Mr. Beer Kit to give it a try. The instructions are very simple and easy to follow. The provided materials are well made and durable. The final product...it's fabulous! This is a beer lovers dream come true...plentiful, tasty beer available at an affordable price! Since my original purchase I have added an additional four kegs to my micro-brewery collection and have no interest in commercially produced beers. I'M NOT MUCH ON LONG AND COMPLICATED- THATS WHY THIS SET-UP IS GREAT FOR ME. SIMPLE AND EASY TO USE IS ITS HALLMARK. NO LONG AND CONFUSING INSTRUCTIONS TO FOLLOW OR FORMULAS TO CONCOCT. I HAVE USED MR BEER PRODUCTS FOR YEARS AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PLEASED WITH THE END PRODUCT. THE BEER IS GREAT-THE PROCEDURE SIMPLE-AND THE BREW TIME MINIMAL. CAN'T BEAT IT FOR THE MONEY, EASE OF OPERATION , OR THE SMOOTH DRINKABILITY OF THE FINISHED PRODUCT. AMAZON IS GREAT FOR OFFERING FREE SHIPPING WITH THIS ITEM- THATS JUST ICING ON THE CAKE! I received my kit a little over a year ago. It is a great way to get into home brewing. I have now moved on to 5 gallon brewing, but am glad I started with this kit. I was able to make all the newbie mistakes on a small scale ( I can drink 2 gallons of so-so beer). I learned a lot with the Mr. Beer kit and managed to brew some really good beer. My last batch with it was a porter that a neighbor called the best beer he ever drank. I still use the bottles and highly reccomend this kit to someone thinking about homebrewing.Customer Review: Awesome for what it is.

This is basically a small fermenter, Perfect for any hobbyists. I got 20 12oz bottles out of it which is pretty good. As long as you have an idea of what you are doing you can make some amazing small batches of brew. Im going to get another fermenter so I can double my output. as for the west coast pale brew, there are ways you can make it really good. Try adding malt extract to your recipe, and common brewing recipes. I added 2 lbs of malt extract 3 oz of hops and an ounce of apricot extract and made a great pale ale.Customer Review: NOT Happy

Bought my Mr Beer locally and right out of the box...the top of the threaded area on top of the Keg had loose plastic threads hanging from it...the TAP never did stop leaking....had wort all over the floor.....it was just a mess.....to rescue the brew...I had to put it in my large fermenter.....I have heard of others having major successes and have even tasted some and it was good....my experience with faulty keg and tap was NOT good. OPEN the box IN the store and check everything out BEFORE you pay for it.
