Overall - liked the taste of the American Light, and was relatively easy. Haven't made the other two yet.
Being Picky: The Booster takes too long to dissolve. No clear directon on whether I should use a spoon or a wisk. Could never get the last bits of Booster to dissolve.
I say you should go for it!

Mr Beer makes it easy to make your own product which is better tasting than the major breweries. If you follow the recipe closely, it has shown to be no miss from my experience. I enjoyed using this item. It was intuitive, even for a rookie. I am unclear how they guard against selling to minors, however. I raised the alcohol content to 3 times the normal amount, and found that the beer tasted great. The first one wasnt so good, but the more I drank, the better it tasted. I find it to be a lot cheaper for me to buy the variety pack and customize the flavor with my home made ingredients. You can't go wrong with MrBeer variety packs.
