I received a Mr. Beer kit for Christmas from my brother. I have brewed three batches now, and just bottled my fourth last night. I may never buy beer from a store again! the process is simple (even I can follow it) and I've not had anything less than a great tasting beer....have had the West Coast Pale Ale, Vienna wit beer, the Canadian lager; all were super! The only thing I'd really like to do is bottle the 12 oz glass bottles instead of plastic liter bottles; which I will do some day. You may want to try another manufacturer since I have used other beer brands and this one is not the best, the kit had some dried yeast in a tiny packet but you would have to buy your own liquid yeast at a brewstore to brew the full quantity of 2 gallons of stout while insuring no contamination, although the kit also contains 12 oz of corn sugar for bottling and some cold method bleach to sterilize....that's about it, haven't tasted the result yet. My husband has wanted to make his own beer for years but it always seem too expensive, too messy and just plain too involved. With the Mr. Beer it is sooo much easier then other methods and it's very easy and you don't end up with a huge mess.
With this 3 beer variety pack, you get to try different kinds without it costing a fortune which was really nice because it's really hard to tell what kind you might prefer unless you try them, this is the perfect opportunity to do that.

I have used Mr. Beer products for years and have never had a batch turn out bad- in fact I can no longer drink store bought as the flavor and consistency of this home brew is so superior to factory made. Amazon does a terrific job of pricing the refill kits Ive ordered and when coupled with free shipping the resulting deal is unbeatable. Comes with Canadian Draft, Vienna Lager, and Weizenbier. Booster packs are corn sugar. Cans are liquid syrup. This mix makes PISS WATER. Better to buy beer from the store than waste weeks waiting to drink this piss water. Award winning taste? Heck no. Waste of money? Yes. Pay the extra 50 cents a bottle and buy real beer from the store. Ready to drink right now. If you just have to make your own beer, but a microbrewery and do it right.
