I got this wok as a birthday present. It shipped quickly,and arrived in just a couple of days. To my dismay,however,it wasn't packaged well by the people at Amazon,and arrived broken! But,Amazon had another one sent out before I could even get the broken one repackaged! That one arrived in good shape and was seasoned on my charcoal grill the very next day!
It is a fairly heavy cast iron,and the seasoning has done wonders. Get it hot and it will stir fry anything quickly!

I ordered this cast iron wok - after seasoning per instructions it cracked on the rim. Returned it for replacement - second wok - cracked on the rim while seasoning it. Returned it - ordered the Lodge brand wok. Lodge is great - Mr Bar-B-Q very bad. My advice - pay for the good one.
PS Amazon was great - immediate response on the returns and prompt processing of my credit - twice. All shipping fees paid - practically painless - no wonder their stock keeps going up.

So far, I am very pleased with this item. It is heavy duty, sits flat and works well. It was a little difficult to get the protective coating off of it in order to season it but once I got that done, I was happy. Just a word of caution: Get off ALL of the protective coating or it will smell like you are burning plastic! I had to let it soak first and scrub really hard to get it to come completely off. I love this wok. I took the advice of other reviewers, and I cleaned it really well when it arrived (the box did arrive quite out of shape, but the wok was not damaged at all), and I even did a test run of just onions to make sure that there would be no off-flavors when I cooked up more costly ingredients. This is a very high quality product for an extremely good price. Try to make the move away from Teflon--this is a very inexpensive way to give it a go.Customer Review: I like the size

I got this a couple of weeks ago arrived just fine (not broken).
I like the size. The pan is alittle ruff in spots and looks like they took a grinder to it in spots. But for the price compared to name brand I will keep this one. Name brand one way out of my price range. 4 times the price
I think Its a good pan for the price. No problems seasoning. I would give it 5 stars if it didn't have these grind marks on the inside other than that HAPPY!
