Many years ago I purchased a set of the original moving men from an ad on TV. Over the past I have bought fake ones in the local stores and none of them worked as well as the Original Moving men. I wanted to buy some of the original moving men so I went to the web and located some at a very reasonal price. I purchased 6 sets and gave some for Christmas presents that year and kept one set for myself. I still have two sets to give as gifts. If you have not tried the Original Moving Men I highly recommend them for anyone. I have been able to move very heavy furniture all by myself from room to room, or to move for cleaning under or behind heavy furniture. Now my husband and sons as well as other family members that I have given these to as gifts really like using them.

My wife and I borrowed a set of these to help with out painting & carpet project and we are very glad that we did. She is pregnant and as such shouldn't be doing anything too strenuous. We were able to move many dressers, bookcases, tables, chairs, couches, tub-stacks and other items from room to room with ease. We were also able to move an extremely large and heavy desk with them - something that would hgave taken several men if we hadn't had them. Further, in the case of the dressers, bookcases, shelves and desk, we didn't need to remove or empty the drawers, saving much time and effort.
Regarding how we used them, we were moving these items mostly across carpet and some tile. For that use, they were super and saved us a tremendous amount of time and effort.

We recently painted our house and had to move a multi-piece buffet that had been joined to form one piece from three. We had to move the piece out of a tight space without the use of the sliders and had a great deal of trouble in moving the piece and trying to keep it togheter. A friend lent me the sliders and my husband was able to move the same piece back by himself without any problem or risk of the piece coming apart. We then used them on fully loaded bedroom furniture. They were great on carpet. I will admit that on higher pile carpet, it might be helpful to have two people available to push and pull - but it is still much easier (not to mention better for the furniture) than trying to do it the old fashioned lift and shove method!Customer Review: Why didn't I buy these years ago?

I can't believe how much easier these have made my life. I will keep the small set under my Christmas tree all year long. It was so hard to drag that thing out of the spare room into the living room every Christmas because the legs just dug so deep into the carpet - and now it just slides with incredible ease. I have moved a cedar chest as well as a desk. If something is left on them for a period of time, huge dents will be created, but the material will pop back to normal soon after. It's nice I don't have to wait for my husband to be around if I want to rearrange. They do work on tile floor but it scratches and scuffs up the bottom of the sliders. Although it doesn't appear to affect their performance, they are best for carpet.Customer Review: best $6.50 ever spent! way to go moving men!

the Pastor of my local church introduced me to moving men. Himself and i had to move several HEAVY large items around in a elderly members' home.
we placed the moving men underneath the 4 legs of the items, and moved them VERY EASILY. still takes a little strength to move heavy items; but saves ALOT OF AGGRAVATION.
my family members were real skeptical as if these things would even work. i did a little demonsration, and they love them! in fact, several of them wanted a set for christmas.
thanks to amazon.com i dont have to pay $30.00 a set for them.
for $6.50 you can't go wrong!! do yourself a favor, order these today! they will save you, (and your back) alot of aggravation!!!!
