Customer Review: Good quality, but ONE annoying trait.

I have two of these and they are the best that I have found, but when there is a lot of pressure in the canister the top rises by itself. If you push the top down it just raises back up. The warmer the weather the higher it pushes up. This due to pressure in the canister, but could be easily prevented if the tops were threaded or notched so you could "lock" the top on. Functionally they are perfect and I would buy another without hesitation.

This handsome silver and green sprayer from Misto emits an extremely fine mist of oil for nonstick cooking, and also works by spraying oil directly on salads, veggies, or pasta. Vegetable oil, especially olive oil, won't leave a sticky residue on pots and pans like commercial cooking sprays with their chemicals and propellants, and it's much lower in fat. Fill the sprayer half full (about 3 ounces), leaving room for pressure, pump the cap 10 times, and you've got 10 seconds of spray time. It can be filled with different oils or with oil to which herbs or garlic have been added.
