Parchment Red is one of Mikasa's most dramatic formal china patterns, and is now available in a full set at a fabulous price. It was first introduced in the fall of 2004, and was an immediate success for holiday entertaining. The white fine china has a dramatic red border with a bright gold band and filigree design. This complete set is a service for eight, including eight dinner plates, salad plates, rim soup plates, footed teacups and saucers.Red and gold transform Mikasa's popular Parchment pattern into a version specifically designed for the holidays. The gleaming white china features a wide cranberry-red border lavished with delicate gold filigree. Gold also trims the edge of each piece. This 40-piece set includes eight place settings, each consisting of a dinner plate, salad plate, rimmed soup plate, footed teacup, and tea saucer.
Parchment Red doesn't have to be saved just for the Christmas season, however. A golden wedding anniversary, landmark birthday, or any significant event can be celebrated with this sumptuous pattern.
