I almost did not order this item because of the other reviewers. I decided to order because I figured it was [not much] so why not try. I needed a decanter and this one came with glasses to boot. I honestly think this is an Amazon pricing error. This set is SUCH A TREMENDOUS VALUE. This is the first time I have written a review, though I purchase from Amazon frequently. The decanter is beautiful, solid, and has a great area for wine to breathe.The glasses are great, and look like the glasses I bought for $5 each from Pier 1. Packaging was probably overkill, so I'm not sure what the other reviewers referred to. The fancy Mikasa box was inside a more sturdy cardboard box with styrofoam.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE SET and I think I am going to order the white wine version.
