Customer Review: Beautiful glassware

I bought this set of four differently patterned glasses because I had broken one from my older set from Mikasa. The new glasses are noticeably thinner glass (on the sides) and lighter weight, and I was somewhat disappointed at first. However, after using them for awhile, alongside my older, heavier glasses, I have decided that only I would know the difference, and most people would appreciate the beautiful designs etched on the glasses and completely different on each glass, and not the weight or thickness.
I also received the first order with all but one glass shattered, but I called Amazon and was cheerfully sent a new set overnight at no cost.

Mikasa's second generation of the CHEERS barware line is a terrific addition to the original line of decorated stemware and barware. By varying the decorating cuts, there are now 4 new designs, and with the original cuts, you can have as many as 8 different designs in your Cheers collection. Each set contains one each of a new "dots & lines", "band of frost dots", "vertical pinstripes" and "wavy line band" cuts.An extension of the original Mikasa Cheers line, the Cheers Too beverage collection features four upbeat, etched patterns for playful yet harmonious variation. Composed yet whimsical, the collection's patterns include lollipop lines, vertical stripes, fine waves, and frosted dots. Cheers Too glasses stand on their own well or dovetail seamlessly with Cheers pieces for a blend of up to eight coordinated looks. A range of stems and bar glasses, Cheers Too is crafted from lead crystal glass for an elegant look and comfortable feel.
The Cheers Too double old fashioned glass adds a light mood to on-the-rocks drinks, making it a perfect piece for parties. Crafted with vertical sides and a thick base, the multi-purpose glass also works well for milk and juice when alcohol is not on the bill.
