I almost gave this set 4 stars but decided on 5! The only issue (which really isn't a huge deal) is they are a bit hard to wash. They are so tall and narrow! However, if you twist a wash rag then you can clean the bottom easier! I only hand wash my Mikasa Cheers glasses (as recommended).
I got the martini glasses 2 years ago for Christmas and liked them so much, I asked for the pilsners for this past Christmas. These glasses are sturdy (yet thin), classy and just plain fun! I love how nobody gets their glass mixed up when you have comany over, too!
I highly recommend them and am adding to my collection!
Description of Mikasa Cheers Pilsner Glasses, Set of 4
This fun new barware group from Mikasa is perfect for home entertaining or gift giving. Each of the 4 large size pilsner beer glasses is decorated with a different etched design: swirl, horizontal pinstripes, vertical lines, and dots.Ready for celebrating, these festive pilsner glasses add a little levity to even the most serious toasts. Each one of the four glasses in this set features a different quirky etched design that makes each person's beverage unique (and keeps each guest from losing her individual glass). The glass designs include a vertical frosted pinstripe pattern, an etched and frosted winding streamer-like swirl, a continuous pattern of thin 1/4-inch-spaced horizontal rings, and a pattern featuring vertical lines of frosted dots that gradually decrease in size from bottom to top. Each footed glass stands 9-1/2 inches tall; has a long, cylindrical body with a 2-1/2-inch-diameter rim; and holds 16 ounces of pilsner. These glasses coordinate with other barware sets in the Cheers series and should be hand washed to avoid chipping. --Cristina Vaamonde
