Customer Review: Nice Design - Poor Quality Glass

The design of these Mikasa martini glasses is festive and fun.
Each one is adorned with a different sand blasted pattern. My favorite is the spiral - kind of like the cartoon symbol of confusion after being hit over the head.
But the execution is not good. Each glass contains bubbles, a definite no no in what's presented as a quality product.
That having been said, salut!

I bought 12 glasses each of most of this set of Mikasa a couple years ago when it was on sale from Macy's thru Amazon. Forget washing in the dishwasher, you so much as look the wrong way at these and they break. They are not durable enough to be everyday use and not nice enough to justify taking up storage space as special occasion glasses. I am VERY disappointed in Mikasa, I would never buy from them again.Customer Review: top notch glasses

i received these glasses as a christmas gift and i could not have been more pleased - they are of a great size and not flimsy at all, vey sturdy, easy to hold, classy and elegant glasses - in a funky, retro sort of way. They will be perfect for my up and coming retro martini party - the set that i received included 8 glasses and cost about $100, so you won't find a better deal - these are beautiful glasses.Customer Review: Excellent martini glasses

These Mikasa martini glasses were an excellent purchase! They are extremely functional and quite whimsical and were a hit at my last party. I would have given them a 5, but I think they are a bit on the big side and I have some trouble storing them as they take up quite a bit of room. These Mikasa Martini glasses are really nice. I own several varieties of the Mikasa Cheers glasses (highball, double old fashioned, champagne flutes) and all are very well made and stylish. I've had NONE of the quality issues noted by other reviewers. These glasses have held up over several years of use and have no cracks, scratches, or other blemishes. These are very nice martini glasses.
