I bought these for my dad on his birthday, and when he opened them, he went wild! He's a complete wino, so it's a perfect gift for anyone who can appreciate beautiful wine glasses. The etching on the sides of the glass is elegant and tasteful, but the style is also very modern. They're also honestly the BIGGEST wine glasses I've ever seen, so I wouldn't fill them up too far. I got these as a Christmas gift last year, and love them. They're huge, but you can use the etched designs as as sort of measure. I also fell in love with the fact that even though there's four different etched designs, they all coordinate to look like a set, but you can still tell your glass from your neighbors. These Goblets are beautiful. They have a wonderful whimsy about them that adds life to the table. The problem is that they are too thin. They are eggshell thin. When you sip from them they feel like they may snap between your lips or possibly cut your lip. I will love them while they are here, but I am afraid that wont be very long. Too tall to fit in my cupboards. We had to install a hanging rack. Also, note that there are 2 sets of 4 glasses, with different patterns. If you care, you need to check the picture carefully. I ordered white wine later than the red wine and martini glasses, and got different patterns -- but decided I wouldn't ever have them on the table together, so this was fine.Customer Review: Awesome!

I love love love these wine glasses. I had two sets but while cleaning up after a party a friend broke two of them. I got another set so I now have two extra glasses...but I love them so much I may get another set just in case. I use these balloon glasses for sangria because they're big enough to include the fruit.
