I have purchased both these and the!Mikasa Cheers Too 16-Ounce White Wine Glass, Set of 4. I have to say both sets are my favorites - almost make cheap wine taste better.
As others have commented the size is amazing on these - so you can easily do the restaurant trick of pouring just half way, letting the wine "breathe" with plenty of room to swirl and still not be stingy with your pouring. On top of that, because each of them come with their own engraved style, while still elegantly matching each other - there's no more worrying if you're drinking out of someone else's glass

I purchased this set along with the Mikasa Cheers 16-Ounce White Wine, Set Of 4 as a gift for my wife.
They feature a unique etched design, and are of excellent quality. They are larger than I initially thought, but fit in the cabinet without any trouble.
I purchased them thinking they were dishwasher safe, but the product description plainly states hand washing is recommended. We do wash them by hand, but if that's not for you there are plenty of dishwasher safe sets available on Amazon.
Overall, we really enjoy these and would recommend them.

Contrary to what other people have said, these glasses are NOT too big. They are PERFECT for red wine lovers! They are pretty huge, don't get me wrong. But they allow you to take in a full nose while you sip. I just got mine and I love them. They are SO round that it really allows you to swirl your wine without any accidentally splashing out of the glass. Additionally, the stem is VERY thin, which really adds to the expensive, fancy feeling of these glasses. I also like how each design is different, allowing you to easily keep track of which glass is yours if you host a party or a tasting! Clever, fancy, and full of quality... these glasses have it all!Customer Review: Whimsical and Fragile

I purchased these glasses as a gift. The designs are fun, and have a young feel to them. I was very disappointed when I received the package and there was one glass broken already. I returned them without any problem.
When I repurchased them again I had additional problems with easy breakage. While Mikasa has normally a great line and usually there are not any issues, I was very disappointed and will not purchase this line again due to their fragile nature. I know that any glass should be handled in a delicate matter, however, I do not think the craftsmanship was up to par on this particular product.

I think this is the first Amazon review I've written. And I've been buying things through Amazon for years. These glasses are absolutely beautiful. And they're HUGE. You could probably fit nearly an entire bottle of wine into one glass. You probably don't want to do that though. :-) The quality is topnotch, as per Mikasa's usual. They are big conversation pieces. Everyone that has seen mine has been thoroughly impressed. I had them on my bridal registry and two of my guests purchased them for themselves as well. I can't wait to add more of the pieces to my collection. I want them all!
