I ordered this item after much reviewing here on Amazon.

Well, this is all of that and MORE! I am so pleased with this as I have used it now every day to make Protein Smoothies in the morning for me and my fiance'. He just told me this morning how much he is enjoying them on the way to work instead of hot tea. (got him to quit coffee a year ago :)
I put frozen berries in, some honey, Nutribiotic Prozone 30-30-40 Vanilla powder (best protein powder I've ever tried!), chia seeds and So Delicious Coconut Milk.
This chops up the frozen berries in a matter of seconds! NO KIDDING! I am amazed at how powerful this thing is! AND one other little perk that I don't recall anyone else mentioning is that the blades are all stainless steel and the bottom of it is too, so, when you run it under water or use it in water/detergent cup to clean you can see the top part of the blades so you know they are clean too! With units in the past, the top part of the blades weren't visible because there was no reflection due to the bottom being plastic not stainless steel. I think it's a great added feature that most probably don't even realize. (I hope I explained that properly so people understand what I am trying to say) I use it on 5 setting on turbo in case anyone was wondering.
I haven't used any of the other blades, whisk attachment or the chopper attachment yet, so I can't comment on those, but I was very pleasantly surprised at the size of the whisk and the chopper bowl! They are really big! Not some dainty little whisk or a 1 cup or less bowl. These are huge! I was going to get a mandolin or a food processor, but now I really don't think I need to. Also, I probably won't need my blender ever again either!
I can't say enough good things about this product and it's a fantastic price at $59.99 here on Amazon! Well worth it! My fiance' is thinking about purchasing another one for his son who loves to cook and wants to be a chef when he grows up. I have to say, the handle is a bit on the heavy side, but I think it also just goes to show how sturdy this is. This has been a great purchase!
Only negative is the manual. It really doesn't do a very good job of telling you what blades are good for doing what. I just looked at them and decided that the 4 prong blade looked like it would do best at blending the frozen fruit and it does a fantastic job! Also, I couldn't find how to attach the stick blender part to the motor. I just figured it out and hoped I was right. It was a bit tough to put on and I am not quite sure how to take it off at this time since I don't have a reason to change it out yet.
I read one review on here where the person didn't think it had enough power. Only thing I can think of is they didn't realize that it has 5 power settings. It does appear to only have the ON and Turbo buttons, but the very top has a dial 1-5 where you can change the power setting. This thing is VERY powerful, trust me. If you happen to put it all the way down to the bottom of the container you are using while blending, it creates quite a suction! Trust me, this thing has more power than you will ever need to use it for. It's fantastic!
If you are confused about which to buy or are cautious because this brand name isn't well-known or familiar to you........let me clear that up for you BUY IT!!! You won't be disappointed! You'll just wish you hadn't spent all those hours hemming and hawing over which one to buy. This is it folks! You won't be sorry. It even has a wall attachment for storage. (we are moving soon, so, we haven't used this feature yet, but can't wait to when we get settled in)
Plan on using it to make gazpacho soon! Can't wait!
NOTE: If you are planning on purchasing this to blend up some of the veggies or beans to thicken your broth, it DOES say not to use it while over heat source. Take pot off of the stove, put the stick blender in pot and do what you need to do, rinse off and return pot to stove. You can still use it for the purpose intended is what I am saying, just not while it's on the stove burner.
