Let me first say that I have researched wine sealers/caps extensively & purchased quite a few duds as well. Some were too tall, some leaked, some broke after several uses, some were too cumbersome and some didn't even fit properly. This item however has none of the aforementioned issues and works flawlessly
Its' design suggests good craftsmanship. It feels solid and unlikely to break from normal use. It also cleans up easily, which is something else to consider when comparing with other designs. I did a test purchase of this model over a year ago and it still works great. As a result, I have since purchased more and will no longer even consider another style of wine cap.
Don't be fooled or influenced by the claims or appearances of other wine caps. As stated, I have tried many (which suggests I must get drunk a lot) and essentially did all of the testing for you...hiccup. For less than ten dollars you really can't go wrong.
