Customer Review: Good Looks, Great Function.

After reading some of the other comments about the Houdini kit I must have received the best of the best because I have opened at least 50 bottles of wine with mine and it still works like the day it arrived. I am still on the first cork screw (they are replaceable) and it works like a champ.
Some of the other items that accompany the corkscrew are less than ideal but for function, this is the way to go & at a very decent price on the Friday Sales.

This wine tool kit is one of the most thoughtful gifts you could bestow on a friend with a passion for wine. First and foremost, the kit packs a Houdini corkscrew, a lever-style tool that removes a cork in 3 seconds with a push and a pull on its comfortable curved handle. Another rapid push and pull on the handle ejects the cork from the corkscrew. This high-quality cork-pulling device has durable, all-metal gears that have held up to 20,000 cork pulls in tests by an independent laboratory. The Houdini also works on any size wine bottle so need be the only opener in your drawer.The kit also includes a foil cutter in a patented "bottle-cap" design, which removes the foil cap from your bottle with a simple squeeze and twist; a drip-stop ring, which prevents drips from running down the bottle and staining your tablecloth or clothing; and a wine/champagne sealer, which provides an airtight cap on unfinished bottles to preserve them for a later date. These three tools are all easy to grip and fit wine bottles of all sizes.
