Hello Folks:
I had this Percolator two weeks now with really no complaints on its performance.
It states 12 cup capacity (48 ounces),which in reality are 4 ounce sizes.I like using my mugs when sipping on coffee which have a 12 ounce capacity ,so I'm really only getting four cups out of it.Sufficient for company though.
I timed it twice.Brewing 12 cups took 12 minutes and my normal six cup morning ritual (exactly two mugs worth) took 7 minutes until the green light said it was a go.
I wish I had a thermometer so I could of stated the finished brewing temperature,but I feel it is not quite as hot as my stove top percolator it just replaced.Its 'keep warm' feature does just that,keeps it warm.I have had a second helping 90 minutes later and it was an acceptable temperature,but far from piping hot.
I at times preheat my mug which solves the issue of heat loss before servings,something I never felt I needed to do with my stove top percolator.Again,this is by my experience,not with actually measuring the serving temperatures between the two types of brewing.Four stars out of five due to it not being quite as hot as I like both right after perking and during its 'keep warm' cycle.
I will give an update 6 months from now to rate its durability.I hope this was helpful to you all.
