I don't have this casserole, but I'm probably going to order it. The above reviewer seems to indicate it was used on the stove top. If so, no wonder it broke. I think this kind of cookware is oven only, no direct heat. I'll get one and repost or update this review.Customer Review: Beautiful blue stoneware
