I really only bought this set after getting a new -US made- expensive pot and pan set that I did not want to scratch with my metal utensils. I thought about getting some OXO pieces because they're pretty awesome quality but their price matches their quality and I had just spent A LOT on my pots and pans.
I bought the set for the pasta spoon, spatula, slotted spoon, ladle, whisk, and the other spoon in the set, they are a great price for reasonable quality -I'd say Wal-mart quality. I am glad, however, that I did not buy it for the 'only work at the right angle' peeler, 'too small' ice cream spoon, 'way too small' pizza slicer, or 'doesn't open bottles' bottle opener. I have not tried the cheese cleaver thing (I have great knives already). The grater is sufficient, I have used it to get lemon zest and it's been helpful in not having to dirty the whole cheese grader which takes up way too much room in my dishwasher. Overall, if you just need a variety of plastic utensils to not scratch metal pans it's a good buy, if you need the pieces on the bottom row of the picture I would go with a better quality brand.
