I have had this product for about 7-8 years. I have found that if you add water to the correct level it doesn't leak. I have also discovered that different sized eggs cook differently. The Henrietta Hen I just purchased is for my son-in-law, but I've had one for a couple of years and I use it all the time. It makes perfect hard boiled eggs every time. Just be sure to set it in a pan or something in case it overflows a little while cooking.Customer Review: No manual included!

We had a Henrietta Hen for over 5 years before she finally bit the dust. She was used at least 2 times a week, making perfect hard boiled everytime. When she died, we got a brand new one right away. Great gift to give too!!!
