A nice addition to any kitchen where a family appreciates a couple of the better sea salts, i.e. one from the French coast and another from the cold waters off the Maine coast. The magnets inbedded in the covers keep the salt from spilling and yet open easily to get a pinch for cooking. Bottom line: We like the product.Customer Review: Great Salt Cellar!

I love my NEW Mario Batalli salt cellar! It holds a lot on the bottom section, for my coarse Kosher salt and the top part, I put my Grey salt or sea salt. The price for a wood salt cellar was really great, and it matches my wood pepper grinder. It keeps closed, when not in use. I am so happy I purchased this salt cellar!! It is just the right size, perfect size for your hand but still cute and decorative. I keep kosher salt in the big well and iodized salt in the smaller well. I use this everyday in cooking and it is so nice and sturdy, I see it lasting the rest of my life.Customer Review: salt cellar

perfect little salt cellar. It has 2 compartments a smaller one on top for pepper and a larger one below for salt. The 2 compartments swing apart to gain access. The wood is a nice weight and has a great feel to it. It fits perfectly next to my stove for cooking. This salt keeper is rather large but that is not my issue. The tops would not line up when closed so it is always a little off and the top salt portion completely came off a bit too easily for me. I would recommend spending a few more dollars for a better quality salt keeper.
