I bought this for my husband as a Christmas gift and we have used it numerous times already. We love it!! It chops the ice perfectly every time for margaritas and daquiries. I bought this and found it to be a huge let down. The only difference from a regular blender is it shaves the ice first. After trying all the different settings, we could only get runny margaritas from it.
Your better off with a 40.00 Kichenaid.
I returned mine.

We enjoyed this item from the start. It's very easy to use and routine cleaning has not been a problem. The only negative is that you must wrap a towel around the white collar leading from the ice bin on top and the liquid container to prevent water from splattering.Customer Review: It's 5:00 somewhere

This is one of the most fun items I have ever purchased. A party machine, ole'! It is amazingly fun!
The only slightly disappointing thing was that the exterior housing of the appliance that appears to be stainless is really only plastic.

Love this product. Made a few Margaritas at first before getting the right consistancy. Great for making my daughter her own virgin pina colada. I got a good deal on this product but I would not pay retail for basically an ice shaver.
