I bought this for my father for Christmas. He loves making margaritas, but could never get his blender to shave the ice well. This blender shaves ice perfectly and comes with some great drink recipes. I have the larger version that I also use for smoothies, but this size is nice for every day use if you have limited counter space, or as a gift.Customer Review: Great product

After reading all the Amazon reviews for margarita makers, I finally selected this one to purchase. The machine works like a charm, easy to use, easy to clean and fits (just) under my kitchen cabinets. It crushes the ice perfectly. I'm the anti-cook/drink maker in the house and I had no trouble figuring it out and making perfect margarita's.Customer Review: It works as advertised

It makes great slushy drinks, the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five was the price.
The liquid container part of the mixer is a little tricky to get out the first couple of times you use it until you get used to it. Don't twist it too hard or the liquid leaks from the bottom of the mixer.

I actually bought this as a gift for a young couple and they have raved about it. They had been using a loaner and were so happy to have their own that I got treated to a "concoction". I'm now considering purchasing one for myself. If you like frozen goodies or know someone who does, do them a favor and get 'em a machine.Customer Review: It's 5 o'clock everywhere

This machine is awesome and not only makes great margaritas, pina coladas, and frozen daquiris but it also makes great non-alcoholic smoothies. It is a wonderful party-pleaser and is easy to clean and operate. Amazon has the best price on this. I paid $40 for another one at Walmart for a gift before I saw it here.
