Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Malaseb Pledgets 60ctCustomer Review: Malaseb worked great on my dog! Summary: 5 Stars
My dog picked up some kind of fungal infection outside or at the groomer; it was just awful! She lost big patches of her fur, her skin was extremely flaky and she was itching like crazy. The vet did a culture and it wasn't ringworm, thank goodness, but still the culture contained both fungal and bacterial cells...poor doggie! In addition to the oral medication from her vet, I bathed and treated with Malaseb. It made her feel so good, stopped the itching, control the inflammation and really helped to restore her coat. It started working after the first bath, and it didn't dry her out to badly (I washed her only every 3-4 days versus every other day which the label recommends). I also treated lesions with Malaseb pledgets. I highly recommend both products for skin and coat infections on your dog. I'm amazed at how quickly she improved. Just be sure to really read the shampoo info well before using and you might even want to discuss it with your vet first. Also, don't let them lick the Malaseb...not good on the doggie tummy, maybe even toxic!
Customer Review: Solution to yeast! Summary: 5 Stars
This product is amazing. The folds on my french bulldog's face started getting red and smelly due to the moisture from tearing. She's had a yeast infection in her ears so I knew it was also a yeast problem. After reading other reviews I thought I'd give it a try and sure enough it worked! I used the wipes once a day for 3-4 days and saw a huge improvement!
**UPDATE**
4/1/09: I bought two jars of these pledgets and didn't end up using all of them. So they dried out. I found a better option is to buy one of the liquid forms (spray/twist top) and just spray/pour on cotton balls/pads. This works just as well.
Customer Review: Excellent Care for my Pug Dog's Face Wrinkles Summary: 4 Stars
This product was recommended to me by a Vet when my Pug puppy got a minor face infection in between his deeper face wrinkle. The Vet also said it would help with the "dog zits" he was getting on his chin. I now use these wipes preventatively about once per week and they work very, very well. It can also be used to clean cuts or ears. The chin zits my dog had are now completely gone. The only complaint I have about this product is the dog hates its medicinal smell and it leaves a nasty feeling on your fingertips after using the wipe.
Customer Review: the only product that ever helped my maltese Summary: 5 Stars
My dog suffers from alergies. She has been off and on antibiotics for the past 3 or 4 years. I have bought supplements, tried naturapathic solutions. She would start to get better and then regress to sores on her bottom, stomach, and legs. Our vet gave us these pledgets about a year and a half ago and they absolutely work for her. When I brush her I look for any sores and at the first sign of any I use the malasorb pledgets and it clears it up.
Customer Review: I keep a back up supply of these! Summary: 5 Stars
These pledgets are terrific for cleaning my bulldogs face folds and also for drying out the tear stain area. Keeping that spot dry is half the battle, and its already won when I use these wipes! Keeps my bullys faces clean and stops the odor. I keep a supply of at least 2 extra containers...I'd be lost if I ran out! I also use it for their doggie chin pimples and minor scrapes & scratches. I highly recommend this product!
