love this product. i just bought my second unit after 5 years of daily use of the first one. i broke it by trying to grind something that was too hard and the white plastic pieces in the base unit broke off. mostly i use it for smoothies, since i need something light in the morning before i go to the gym. i've used it sucessfully for onions, coffee beans, soup, potatoes, parmesan cheese, yogurt and fruit smoothies, milkshakes for my grandchildren (they love the colored rings on the mugs) and anything else that needs to be chopped quickly when i'm cooking. it's easy to clean and i've used it almost daily since i got it. i went out and bought another one, because i missed the first when it broke. it looks good on the counter because it's so small and when i have to put it away, fits nicely in any cabinet. i heartily recommend this product.Customer Review: So easy a child could use it.

I have a unit that's probably 5 years old. The motor is getting a little weak, but it never claimed to work that long.
All too often single people have to buy full-sized household appliances to do small one meal jobs. This is a great answer to that problem.
I make frozen fruit smoothies, and I also make protein milkshakes every day. I've mixed up pancake batter, omelets, dips, dressings, and sauces. I've had 1 jam in the blade when I tried to grind up hard cheese. I quickly learned that the size of the pieces makes the difference. I'm definitely looking around for another one. I figured that it can't be all bad. The Bullet Blender came out on the market, and within a couple of years there were at least 5 copy-cat products on the market. Thanks for making a great little item.

I bought my first Magic Bullet about 3 and a half years ago and it works very well! Me and my mother have both used the Magic Bullet and it's a great kitchen appliance! It doesn't take up any room at all on the counter top. I agree that sometimes when chopping vegetables it doesn't chop all of them up but if you remove the cup from the base and shake it up so that the unchopped vegetables have mostly shifted to the bottom, it works! As to the reviewers who had an issue with the Magic Bullet and frozen fruit, I'm not sure why that is. I make frozen strawberry and blueberry smoothies often and I never have an issue getting it to blend up the frozen fruit AND ice. Try adding more liquid is my only advice. I would recommend the Magic Bullet to anyone who wants an easy to use, multi-use kitchen appliance.Customer Review: Great So Far

I recently had lapband surgery and was looking for something that would accomplish two things: First make great protein shakes and second chop food up into smaller pieces. What I love specifically about the Magic Bullet is that protein shakes are made right in the cup you use to drink. The only mess to clean up is the blade as opposed to a blender. When using the Bullet for food I like that the containers are small enough to keep food at the level of the blade...again much easier than trying to use a blender. The Magic Bullet is small and very portable. I recently travelled out of the country for work and was able to take it with me. It took up very little room in my suitcase. So far I have been extremely pleased with the unit. I have not had any problems with it and use it daily.Customer Review: Bullet Blender a must!

My results with the Bullet Blender are quite different from the previous user, so maybe they had a lemon? I use mine DAILY...to make smoothies....actually...twice a day most days. (for the past 8 months) I now have two of them so that I can keep one in my travel bag. I never want to be without it. Thinking of buying a third. <g> I use at least 6 ice cubes in my smoothie, sometimes fruit. Handles it very well. It does make a racket so you might consider ear plugs :).
Highly recommended for certain things. I don't know that it replaces ALL kitchen appliances, but it does a few things VERY well and it is easier to clean than a large blender. I have only had to replace the gasket in the blender jar. (after a year or more). Just a thought. mb
