After reading both positive and negative reviews for this product, I decided to go ahead and purchase one. As long as you read the manual carefully and follow the directions, the Magic Bullet works great. I have used it for drinks, smoothies, sauces, salsas and batters. It did not work well for the nacho cheese sauce. I ended up with a hard blob of cheese! It takes up hardly any room on the kitchen counter so I keep it out for quick use. And it is easy to clean. I would recommend this as a nice addition to the kitchen.Customer Review: Excellent spice grinder

The magic bullet is a useful kitchen tool that I use everyday.
The flat blade makes and excellent spice grinder. I grind and blend all my own spices and this little blender does a great job. The flat blade also works great for whipping cream and making aoile and mayonaise.
The cross blade does a great job choping nuts, making bread crumbs, grating hard cheeses and making smoothies and blended drinks.
Everything is easy to clean and use.
A great small tool for everyday use.

I needed a processor last minute when I went to a dept. store without seeing the infomercial. I got this because it seemed like a good deal with all the other stuff included. I didn't realize that this is best used for individual servings. Took me an hour to make a spinach pesto sauce about a jar amount, which would usually take me 20 minutes. The item did it's job but not great for dry to liquid items. This item is better for liquids or cream recipes in my opinion. I'm debating whether I want to return it or not.Customer Review: great personal blender

This blender is perfect for individual servings: smoothies, frozen drinks, instant pudding, making your own powdered sugar...pulverizing type stuff. Chopping veggies and nuts are tricky but possible with practice. I used mine all the time, even in my RV. I hate to go anywhere without it. I was real surprised that it lasted 5-6yrs. The only down-side was for the price it should have had solid metal rotary blades instead of plastic. The rotary blades on the motor finally gave a squeal before discinigrating into pieces.Customer Review: happy for 3 years

I bought the magic bullet 3 years ago when my daughter had jaw surgery. I used it to pulverize all her food for around 3 months. The little unit was used at least 5 times daily. Since then, I have used it almost daily to make blender drinks. When I have a larger quantity to do I use my Vita-Mix machine; but for a single healthy smoothie it is alot less cleanup to use the little magic bullet. I am actually surprised the machine is still going strong after all the hard use it has had! It has been a great purchase.
