Customer Review: Fastest & Easiest way to open a bottle

One star down because is a bit bulky.
Even as I write this I'm debating that star because short of SHOOTING the cork and the top of the bottle off, this is the quickest and easiest way to get the cork out of a bottle. Opening a bottle with this is far better than that; no messing around with glass shards all around, holes in the walls behind, or innocent bystanders being hit by any shrapnel.

This wine opener is perfect for anyone who wants a hassle free way to open their Merlot. The set includes a wine opener which makes opening your favorite bottle two simple, fluid motions. It also includes a spare cork screw incase you break the one it comes with (heaven forbid) and a foil cutter that works great. The only negative is it seems a little less fluid than the Rabbit, but for $4o less it is a much better deal.Customer Review: Worked for one bottle of wine

I purchased this opener after my previous one (same style, more expensive manufacturer) broke after two years of faithful service. After using this opener one time, it was rendered useless. The threading for the hinge was stripped. This is the same problem that killed my other opener, but it took two years to get to that point.
It's worth the money to spend a few extra dollars to get a reputable corkscrew.

Purchased this item 3 months ago and have opened up less than a dozen bottles of wine. It is now not functional as it will not remove cork from the bottle. COrkscrew just comes out the same way it went in. Cannot return as it is more than 60 days. Very poor investment and has just turned out to be a total waste of money. I bought this wine opener to replace a regular corkscrew and I'll never go back. This tool is incredibly easy to use, from removing the foil to lifting the cork from the bottle to releasing the cork from the opener. In addition to its ease of use, this wine opener is also a fun tool. I bought a second wine opener as a gift, and I'll continue to give these as gifts - they're great!
